Maple Turmeric Overnight Oats

I’m so excited to share this recipe with you – it’s my first recipe of 2017 and it’s an easy one!

With the new year comes new resolutions. A popular one is to lose weight, to get fit or to become healthier. I know how hard that can be when you live a busier life, whether you’re a full-time student, employee or stay-at-home parent. We often feel like we have to choose between nutritious or quick, and end up picking something fast, convenient, and usually unhealthy. I know I’m guilty of this – this is how I was throughout all of 2016.

But don’t worry, my dear friends. I have a recipe that’s fast, portable, healthy and yummy. This is a recipe you can feel good about grabbing when you’re on the go.

These maple turmeric overnight oats take only a few minutes to prep the night before! Here’s how ya make ‘em.

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. milk of your choice
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger

Put all ingredients in a mason jar. Place lid on mason jar and shake.

Put in fridge overnight. Grab in the morning and go!
