Turmeric Face Mask

Hi friends!

By now, you should know that I love DIY face masks! They’re usually easy and so fun to make! I like to try to do a face mask each week to pamper myself and to give my skin the boost it needs. Today, I have a turmeric face mask to share with ya!

Turmeric has so many amazing benefits, with the most prominent boost being it’s anti-inflammatory properties. As someone who is breakout prone, turmeric is an amazing item to have on hand to fight stubborn spots and to reduce redness and inflammation.

Before I go into the recipe, I just want to offer a bit of advice – use this mask in the evening, after you’ve done all you needed to do for the day. This mask has the potential to stain your face yellow for a short period of time (which, as you can guess, is what happened to me). But don’t let that scare you away from the amazing benefits!

Ingredients:

Mix together the ground turmeric powder and the bentonite clay in a small bowl. Add the water and stir until all ingredients are smooth and incorporated evenly.

Apply to the face and leave to dry for about fifteen minutes. Rinse off, pat dry and apply serums and facial creams as needed.

What is your favorite face mask? I’d love to know what go-to ingredients you use in yours!

Naturally,

Ari
