Hey friends!

If you couldn’t tell by the title of this blog, I’m Ari! I figured my first blog post should be a little intro into my life, so here it is:

I’m beginning my fourth year as an undergrad at THE Ohio State University (or home, if we’re being completely honest). I’m studying Health Sciences and plan to go to graduate school for Occupational Therapy. The thought of applying to graduate programs has me feeling scared, happy, nervous, excited, freaked out and pumped all at the same time but I couldn’t feel more grateful to just have this opportunity.

Ohio State has CHANGED my life in so many unbelievable ways — It’s given me a greater sense of independence and liberation, it’s helped me begin to find my true self and it’s introduced me to my second family, which has given me an overwhelming abundance of friendships, amazing opportunities, the confidence to be myself and a push to step outside of my comfort zone (this blog is a product of that!).

Outside of my home (I mean school…), I have a lovely family and a wonderful boyfriend. I have two happily married parents who have lead such a great example of what a solid, Christian relationship should look like and three younger sisters who are great at pushing buttons and stealing clothes, although I know I couldn’t live without ’em.

My boyfriend, Josh, is my rock. It’s so crazy to think about how it all started over FIVE years ago. In case you need more perspective, we’ve been together since we were fifteen — for almost half of a DECADE! It feels so unreal to think that I’ve spent a quarter of my life with someone who still makes me the happiest person on the planet.

I definitely have been blessed with a great life, and there isn’t a day where I’m not thankful. I have such a passion for a full, healthy and adventurous life and I strive to improve myself each and every day. My goal with this blog is to share that passion with an incredible world. I’m so excited to share this journey to a healthy, happy & creative life with you.
